Maria, 27, is born and bred in Madrid, she has been living, working and studying in the city of Madrid for more or less her entire life. Maria is a social butterfly, a travel lover and an experience-junkie. In 2016 she moved to live in Scotland to experience another culture and extend on her language skills. Maria knows all too well how tricky and funny it can be to live in another country, but loves the story that it brings.
In this fine capital is where Maria studied Social Work at The Complutense University of Madrid and has since done more courses working with youths and Spanish history.
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS
Jules, 27 hails from The Netherlands, he's been an 'Amsterdammer' since 2011. He was born in the province of Limburg but it was here, in this wonderful capital that he attained a BA in English Language and Literature (focusing on creative writing and journalism). In the past he has undertaken studies in Edinburgh, interned in New York City and even at a major publishing house in Amsterdam . He is currently completing his Masters in Editing and Contemporary Publishing. Jules is a travel lover also and has a deep love for culture. He currently works as a Freelance Writer and Copy Editor.
In the future Jules hopes to become an editor at a Dutch publishing office.
Markus, 25 grew up in a small town in the south of Germany known as Bavaria. Berlin was Markus' dream city after all. In Berlin it was that Markus studied Media management, Journalism and Public Relations. Packed under his belt (if he wore belts) - are interests in traveling, creative projects and people, not to mention an inherent love of language and writing.
Not too long ago Markus created the radio station at his university as the Chief Editor, recently he has been working in event management and now does regular radio podcasts for the network BLN-FM.
Markus strives to learn 5 languages by the time he is 30 years old, attain his Masters degree in Media-psychology and some day become a recognised Author.
Collaborations occur frequently with other professionals to make the WCR experience what it is - professional freelancers in a multitude of creative fields all contribute to the design and layout, the contents and the coordination of each project.
We also have organisers for the activities/excursions/workshops who work behind the scenes and sometimes in front - like City Tour Guides, Special Guests in workshops and more.
